CTP Extension LetterS

All Queensland road registered vehicles require a CTP rally extension letter to participate in HSCCQ events.

What is CTP?
In Queensland, Compulsory Third Party (CTP) insurance protects motor vehicle owners and drivers from being held financially responsible if they injure someone in a motor vehicle accident. It also enables a person who is injured wholly or partly due to the actions of another driver to access medical treatment and rehabilitation support as well as receiving fair and timely compensation.

Owners of Queensland road registered vehicles must obtain their CTP Rally Extension letter and email it to entries@hsccq.com prior to the day of the event. This is obtained by requesting it from the CTP provider listed on the vehicle registration.

To find out who your CTP insurance provider is, enter your registration number on the MAIC Lookup Tool
