About
our club
HSCCQ believe grassroots motorsport should be safe, easy, fun, and affordable. We are a Motorsport Australia affiliated car club for enthusiastic competitors. We welcome members with all car makes and models.
our members
Joining a car club is the first step toward getting involved in motorsport. As a HSCCQ member, you can compete in Motorkhana and Khanacross events or participate in inter-club challenges with other car clubs. You will also be eligible for a Motorsport Australia license.
Individual and family memberships available. Junior drivers from 12 years can compete in our events.
our venue
Our regular venue is the parking areas and pits adjacent to the Willowbank Raceway drag strip. HSCCQ Motorkhanas and Khanacrosses are conducted on bitumen surfaces.
Our history
Our club was formed in the late 1960s, as the Viva Car Club. It became the Holden Torana Car Club in the 1970s and the Holden Sporting Car Club of Queensland (HSCCQ) in the early 80s. From the beginning, it has been about motorsport enthusiasts who enjoy competing and socialising. You don’t need to own a Holden to join our club.
our VOLUNTEERS
HSCCQ volunteers play a vital role in keeping our club and our events running smoothly. They donate their time, energy, and knowledge – helping out with timekeeping, administration, and event planning. If you are interested in volunteering, please contact us for more information.
our COMMITTEE
HSCCQ is managed by a Committee of volunteers elected each year at our annual general meeting. All current financial full members are invited to nominate for positions on the Management Committee.
As all Committee Members are volunteers, email is our preferred method of communication.
